The Story of our Kitties, by Grace Koch and Patience Koch

This is a story I wrote and illustrated with my sister Patience. Here are some of the pages from our book. We worked together and made it all by ourselves.

The Story of our Kitties
by Patience Koch and Grace KochWe used to not have a kitty then we got a kitty from the farm. We were getting one kitty, but we got two.We brought home 2 kitties. Their names were Bokeh and Boots.

Then the kitties died.

Boots liked to play with feathers, sticks and dolls and Bokeh didn't like to play. Bokeh slept more than Boots. Boots liked to play and Bokeh liked to sleep.

Since the kitties died we got Bella.Then we got another kitty from the animal shelter. Her name was Penney.

We brought Penney home. Penney was happy at our house.We prayed so Bella and Penney would like each other. Since we prayed Bebo and Penney liked each other.

Then we did school and made this book.

Book 11.2.09

A flower in the sun.

It had fun in the sun.

It swayed in the sun.

A heart was playing in the grass.

It ran until he ran into the flower.

The flower asked, "Would you want to play with me?"

The heart said, "I do."

The flower had to stop because the flower had a bird on her.

The heart said, "Can you play some more?"

"No", said the flower.

Then there was silence in the yard.
